Este artículo se enfoca en la alternativa y los procesos para crear empresa, analizando las diferentes perspectivas dentro del contexto nacional haciendo un paralelo frente a las posibilidades de búsqueda de empleo en un país emergente como Colombia. Se definen los aspectos de forma generalizada a tener en cuenta cuando se piensa en crear un negocio propio. Se enfatiza en la necesidad de buscar nuevas alternativas que permitan el desarrollo económico y social de las regiones, que además impulsen los diferentes estamentos económicos a través de la generación de fuentes de empleo y analizando las diversas soluciones desde los distintos sectores de la economía privada. Así entonces se determinan los factores fundamentales desde puntos de vista económico, educativo y social que se deben tener en cuenta para hacer empresa y sus consecuencias a términos de tiempo definidos.
