However, during the last decade, as a result of Venezuela's socio-economic situation and political and institutional instability, the population has been forced to seek new opportunities elsewhere, largely across the borders with Colombia.According to this situation, the municipality of Pamplona Norte de Santander is no stranger to this problem for thisreason, this project seeks to analyze the economic sectors with the greatest socio-economic impact that has beengenerated in themunicipality of Pamplona and the consequences and effects of these on the dynamics of the labor market and the economy.Given that the arrival of Venezuelan citizens who need to meet their basic need sand there fore generate in come has generate de conomic,cultural and social problems in the municipality. |

Históricamente la frontera entre Colombia y Venezuela ha sido una de las más dinámicas. En estos pasos fronterizos, el movimiento entre los ciudadanos ha sido permanente, incluso hace unas décadas los colombianos viajaban en búsqueda de un futuro prometedor al vecino país y el turismo era activo. No obstante, durante la última década, como resultado de la situación socioeconómica de Venezuela y la inestabilidad política e institucional, la población se ha visto obligada a buscar nuevas oportunidades en otros lugares, en gran medida a través de las fronteras con Colombia. De acuerdo a esta situación el municipio de Pamplona Norte de Santander no es ajeno a esta problemática por esta razón este proyecto buscar analizar los sectores económicos con mayor impacto socio-económico que se ha generado en el municipio de Pamplona y las consecuencias y afectaciones de estos sobre la dinámica del mercado laboral y de la economía. Teniendo en cuenta que la llegada de ciudadanos venezolanos que necesitan suplir sus necesidades básicas y por ende generar ingresos ha generado inconvenientes económico, culturales y sociales en el municipio.
