Sumario:This document develops a descriptive analysis of the Free Trade Agreement signed between Colombia and the European Union, focusing on the mining energy sector which represents approximately 70% of the commercialization between the parties. This is due to the growing tendency of the countries towards the expansion and opening of their economies, being this agreement one of the most important components of the commercial agenda of Colombia and being the European Union the second commercial partner of the Colombian territory, representing 14.7% of the foreign trade in the country, framed in turn by exports mainly of mining and energy products. It is consistent with the process of gradual international insertion of Colombia in international trade and investment flows and constitutes a fundamental contribution to complement the national market with the opportunities generated by trade with 500 million consumers, analyzing whether.
