La economía solidaria en Colombia, se caracteriza por avanzar y crear transformaciones al territorio a través de la cooperación y ayuda mutua, por tal motivo, el estudio se enfocó en conocer las principales causas o problemáticas que inciden para promover el ejercicio solidario en el territorio, mediante una metodología cuantitativa de tipo descriptivo, tomando como población las asociaciones del municipio de Ocaña, Norte de Santander, concluyendo que más del 50% de las entidades promueven la innovación y atienden la problemática principal del desempleo y apoyo social a población en condición de pobreza extrema.
