The main result is that most of the ex-combatants interviewed have not received accounting advice, and therefore do not have the knowledge to interpret financial information. |

El presente artículo analiza la necesidad de una capacitación contable en los emprendimientos de los excombatientes de las FARC EP y proyectar su impacto en los proyectos cooperativos; con el objetivo de aportar desde el área contable a que los excombatientes cuenten con las herramientas necesarias para dirigir financieramente sus emprendimientos y así asegurar su permanencia y crecimiento; para este trabajo se realizó una investigación mixta, en la que se realizó una revisión bibliográfica y también se aplicó un instrumento a una muestra representativa de veinte emprendimientos, información con la cual se permitió establecer la necesidad de un asesoramiento contable, el enfoque del análisis es triangular. Como principal resultado se evidencia que la mayoría de excombatientes entrevistados no han recibido una asesoría contable, por lo cual no cuentan con los conocimientos para interpretar información financiera, mostrando la pertinencia de la capacitación propuesta ya que permitiría dotar de herramientas de análisis y para la toma de decisiones financiera de los emprendimientos.
