A descriptive investigation, with a mixed approach, was followed; forming a homogeneous non-probabilistic sample of 139 students in the last semester, delimited to five degrees assigned to the division of social and administrative sciences of the private university. The results showed that 89% of the sampled students are very satisfied with the degree they studied; 75% of them worked while studying their professional career; however, 26% revealed that their work activities did not correspond to their graduation profile. 67% believed that their academic training allows or will allow them to carry out their professional practice in an excellent and acceptable way. It is concluded that the exit survey can support the private university in the implementation of continuous improvement actions for educational quality purposes, while providing the Institution with an effective tool in decision-making aimed at innovation. |

El presente proyecto tuvo como propósito valorar la percepción de alumnos próximos a egresar de pregrado, acerca de la calidad del proceso académico formativo y servicios educativos otorgados, que coadyuve al proceso de mejora continua de una universidad privada, de la ciudad de Tijuana, Baja California, México. Se siguió una investigación descriptiva, de enfoque mixto; conformando una muestra no probabilística homogénea, de 139 alumnos de último cuatrimestre, delimitada a cinco licenciaturas adscritas a la división de ciencias sociales y administrativas de la universidad privada. Los resultados mostraron que, el 89% de los alumnos muestreados, están muy satisfechos de la licenciatura cursada; el 75% de ellos, trabajaron mientras estudiaban su carrera profesional; no obstante, el 26% reveló que, sus actividades laborales no correspondían con su perfil de egreso. El 67% opinó que su formación universitaria, les permite o permitirá desempeñar su ejercicio profesional, de modo excelente y aceptable. Se concluye que la encuesta de salida puede apoyar a la universidad privada en la implementación de acciones de mejora continua con fines de calidad educativa, a la vez que dota a la Institución de una herramienta efectiva en la toma de decisiones orientadas a la innovación.
