Summary:The research aims to apply a performance evaluation instrument with emphasis on general and specific competencies, and analyze the results of this in operational level workers in a company in the health sector in Cartagena. A descriptive research was developed, which was developed within an evaluative approach, quantitative in nature, where the generic and transversal competencies of the General Services Assistant job position were measured, which allowed us to measure work performance/productivity. We worked with a sample of 16 officials from the operational area, who were assigned by the Human Talent area, given the shortcomings and deficiencies in processes that existed in the management of human capital at this organizational level. The results obtained show that transversal competencies which are related to business strategic planning, specifically with corporate values, stand out with low results, such as Self-Mastery 36%, Initiative 36% and Communication 25%; compared to specific competencies
